VRL: North West Wolves win in muddy miracle

A LAST-minute try for Saipani Aiolupo got North West Wolves out of a muddy mess at Craigieburn with a four-point win in Victorian Rugby League on Saturday.

The Wolves left Hothlyn Reserve 18-14 winners after the match had looked like finishing in a draw.

Craigieburn led 6-4 at half-time and scored first in the second half to take control on the scoreboard, before the Wolves launched their comeback.

Tommy Webb scored two tries and Solomon Faalogo the other before Aiolupo's late score.

Kingi Khani kicked the Wolves' only conversion of the match.
