BUCKLEY Park's control of North West Metropolitan Cricket Association continued at the weekend with a seven-wicket win against Pascoe Vale Central in Luscombe Shield.

The ladder leaders fired at the top of the order with a century opening stand to make 3-181 in reply to Pascoe Vale's 8-177.

Buckley Park's 45 points lead the table from Kealba-Green Gully on 39.

Wes Telford hit 93, sharing a partnership of 120 for the first wicket with Andrew Tipping (34).

Buckley Park reached the target with 19 balls to spare.

At Roxburgh Park, the home side had no answer to Aberfeldie-St Johns which posted 9-192 batting first before wrapping up the home team inside 34 overs for 132 in reply.

In Vic Kyte Shield, run-away ladder leader Strathmore Heights defended 202 by bowling out Sydenham-Hillside for 107.

In Keith Stringer Shield, Maribyrnong Park-St Marys lost by just eight runs against Westmeadows.
